Pasqua Vorgia
Pasqua Vorgia is an Onassis and Fulbright scholar.
She studied cultural management (MA) at Panteion University of Social and Political Sciences in Athens, organizational psychology (MA) at Columbia University (NY) and psychology at the Kapodistrian University of Athens.
She has worked as an independent film documentary producer and freelance writer for the Press. In 2011, she joined the art collective Depression Era, which brought together 25 artists, photographers, writers, and researchers, in which context she co-curated and organized various exhibitions, workshops and other public events and interventions in Greece and abroad.
Since autumn 2015, she has been working in the field of cultural management at the Onassis Stegi, coordinating the Talks & Thoughts series, which consists among others of conferences, exhibitions, workshops, and multi-disciplinary festivals, inviting artists and intellectuals from around the world.
As an artist, she is interested in the dialectics between images and words, especially in the context of contemporary mass culture and the media. She works with the mediums of photography, video and text.
