Panos Skouteris

Panos Skouteris was born in Athens to a family strongly connected to the vocal tradition of the Peloponnese. He picked up the demotic clarinet at the age of twelve, learning the instrument by playing along with Petro-Loukas Halkias, Nikos Filippidis, and others. At the age of fifteen, he picked up the Cycladic tsambouna and the Thracian gaida.
