Nikos Vittis
Nikos Vittis studied Film Scoring at the Berklee College of Music in Boston, after completing his studies at the Polytechnic School of Aristotle University of Thessaloniki.
His music includes compositions for feature and short films, documentaries, theater, small ensembles, songs, art exhibitions, and installations. In his work for the theater, he has worked, among others, with Thomas Moschopoulos, Yannis Moschos, Avra Sidiropoulou, Aspa Tobouli, Olga Pozeli, Evdokimos Tsolakidis, Fotis Makris, Lefteris Giovanidis, Giorgos Michalakopoulos. He has composed the soundtrack of the films – shorts, features and documentaries – “Kantina” (Canteen), ”O Anthropos pou enohlise to sympan” (The Man Who Disturbed the Universe), “I Trisevgeni,” “Dimiourgontas gnosi” (Creating Knowledge), and “Puzzle.”
He was featured at the Fadjr International Theater Festival in Tehran with the performance “Don’t Judge a Man by His Tail.” His works have been performed in Greece, Germany, and America.
