Nikos Tseberopoulos

Nikos Tseberopoulos, after completing his studies in Psychology (BA in 2011), wrote, produced, and directed his first short film, “The Voice” (2012). In 2013 he moved to London to study Cinema. At the end of his studies, he wrote and directed his second short film, “Simon Says” (2015), which won the Best Short Film Award at the Athens International Film Festival and the 3rd Best Film / Socrates Demetriades Award at the Drama International Short Film Festival (DISFF); it was also selected in numerous film festivals around the world, and was bought by a national television channel in Japan.

In 2021, Nikos was awarded the Artworks Fellowship by the Stavros Niarchos Foundation. His third short, “Soul Food” (2020), was selected by the European Script Laboratory Midpoint Shorts, was funded by the National Film Centers of both Greece and France, while it won the Best Director and Best Male Performance Awards at the DISFF 2021, and now continues traveling to festivals across the globe.

Nikos is currently working on the script development of his debut feature film, which was selected by the Mediterranean Film Academy (MFI) Script to Film Lab 2021, as well as by the Meetings on the Bridge International Pitching Forum, as part of the Istanbul International Film Festival.
