Nikos Nikolaidis

The multi-awarded Greek filmmaker, screenwriter, and novelist Nikos Nikolaidis was born in Athens on October 25, 1939. He studied Film Directing and Set Design at the Vakalo School (1962). Working as assistant to the director Vassilis Georgiadis since 1960, in 1962 he debuted as a director with his short film, “Lacrimae Rerum.” His made his official film debut in 1975 with the feature “Euridice BA 2037.” Along with his film career, he worked as a commercial director for twenty years, having shot more than two hundred commercials. He died in Athens on September 5th, 2007.
