Niko Efstathiou

Niko Efstathiou is a journalist and writer. He studied political science at Yale University and completed his master's degree at the School of International and Public Affairs at Columbia University. He has worked as a journalist at “Kathimerini” newspaper and editor-in-chief at “LiFO” magazine. He has also served as a Communication Officer for the World Health Organization during the pandemic and a Google News Lab Fellow in New York, working on the implementation of technology for human rights monitoring and protection. In 2022, he published his first book, "Pyrros, on a first-name basis," a narrative biography of Pyrros Dimas, the most decorated Greek Olympic athlete.
