Niki Xylouri

Niki Xylouri makes her singing debut during the Musical August festival organized by Manos Hadjidakis, alongside her father Psarantonis, while she appears in discography with the album “Oi Rizes Mou” (My Roots). She attends Byzantine Music and Western Music classes and studies at the Hellenic Cinema and Television School Stavrakos, in the department of Set and Costume Design. Between 1996 and 2000, she collaborates with Panagiotis Kounadis and Stelios Vamvakaris in a series of concerts dedicated to Smyrna song. In parallel, she collaborates in musical performances and records with well-known artists of the Greek music scene (Argyris Bakirtzis, Mariza Koch, Vassilis Kazoulis, Pantelis Thalassinos, Giannis Aggelakas, among others).

She was music supervisor for “The Women in Black” documentary (2006) and has composed music for “Southwards” documentary (2012) by Anthi Ntaountaki.

In 2018, she participated in the theatrical performance “The Sacrifice of Abraham” in the role of the Messenger, at the Odeon of Herodes Atticus and under the direction of Ilias Malandris.
