Nefeli Myrodia, Head of Onassis AiR
Nefeli Myrodia is the Head of Onassis AiR.
Nefeli Myrodia works as a cultural producer for the development of projects that span performance, visual arts, new media, and cinema. She studied International and European Economics (AUEB) and continued with master’s degrees in International Political Economy (Panteion University) and in Digital Arts (ASFA).
From September 2018 to September 2022, Nefeli Myrodia was the Creative Producer and Program Dramaturge of Onassis AiR.
Between 2015 and 2017, she was the production manager in Athens of the international artist-in-residence program Sound Development City and the producer in Greece of the Swiss interdisciplinary festival Culturescapes 2017. She has worked as program coordinator and producer of the Athens Biennale and she was the international relations coordinator of the artistic program of Kalamata:21 ECoC Candidacy Office. In 2017-18, she was the side events director and curator of the performance platform of Hellas Filmbox Berlin.
Her previous professional experience is in theater, where she worked from 2010 to 2016 in dramaturgy, direction, production, research, and director’s assistance for international productions (in collaboration with Rimini Protokoll, Poka-Yio, Armin Kerber, Michael Marmarinos, Stathis Livathinos).
Her articles have been published in Theater Heute and in selected publications and she is a Humanity in Action Senior Fellow (Berlin, 2015).
