Miles Perkin

Born in Canada, the multi-instrumentalist Miles Perkins inherited the music gene from his father, a rock guitarist and high school music teacher. A child prodigy, he started learning to play the drums at age 3, and by 5 he was already playing guitar and bass in a school rock group. He studied classical and jazz double bass in Montreal and New York, alongside Mark Helias. His first album, “Aposiopesis”, appeared in 2008, and he has played bass on more than 20 albums with artists including The Barr Brothers, Benoit Delbecq, Lhasa de Sela. He has produced four solo albums in total. He met Tom Arthurs in 2009 after moving to Berlin. In addition to Glue, he is a member of the bands Quairos and Sequoia.
