Papalexandri has exhibited at venues such as the Martin-Gropius-Bau, Berlin; Asmolean Museum, Oxford; Museum of Musical Instruments, Berlin; ISEA, Hong Kong; San Francisco Art Institute; ZKM, Karlsruhe; Biennale del Disegno di Rimini, Italy; Transmediale, Berlin; Espoo Museum of Modern Art, Finland; Donaueschingen Festival / Museum Art Plus; and Venice Biennale of Architecture. Commissioned by Neue Vocalsolisten, Klangforum Wien, Ensemble SurPlus, Ensemble Mosaik, Yarn /Wire and featured in festivals such as MaerzMusik, Berlin; Japan Media Arts; the ISCM World Music Days; Ultraschall, Berlin; ECLAT Stuttgart; MATA New York; and Archipel Geneva, among others.
She Is the recipient of the Ernst Von Siemens Foundation Commission, the Berlin Sound Art Grant, the Swedish Arts Council Grant, the IMPULS Composition Award, the Dan David Prize for Contemporary Music, the Darmstadt Stipendienpreis and the Berlin Composition Grant. Papalexandri has been nominated for residencies by the Akademie Schloss Solitude, Stuttgart, the Electronic Music Studios, Sweden, the Villa Concordia, Germany, the Humboldt-University of Berlin and the St John's College, University of Oxford.
