Marialena Vyzaki

Marialena Vyzaki has graduated from the Athens Law School (2010) and acquired a MSc in Human Rights from the London School of Economics (2011). She became a member of the Athens Bar Association in 2012. She has so far lived in 5 countries, working for several international organizations, such as the World Bank, the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development, the European Union, and the United Nations. Her work focuses on human rights, the promotion of gender equality, women’s empowerment, climate change and entrepreneurship. She has designed and implemented development projects in more than 15 countries in Sub-Saharan Africa, Northern Africa and the Middle East, Latin America, and Central Asia. She currently lives and works in Athens.
