Mara Angelidou

Over the past few years Mara Angelidou has been the Director of a non-profit organization called ‘InCommOn’ which has, as its basic pillars, actions to address environmental degradation, social inequalities, and the lack of active engagement of communities with themes of the circular economy, the management of food waste, the creation of green jobs for vulnerable groups etc. She is a graduate of the School of Architectural Engineering of Athens, with MSc on Environment and Development. She is a specialist in the management of environmental, community, and humanitarian projects aimed at sustainable development in cities which involve the proper management of waste, the circular economy, social crises in urban centers, social innovation, active citizenship, and participative design. She has participated as a volunteer and worked in projects in Greece, Portugal, England, and Kenya.
