Lara Tambacopoulou

Lara Tambacopoulou was born in Switzerland in 1967. She studied business management and photography in England. She photographed authored articles for the Greek press until 2012, when she relocated to Vancouver where she studied counselling at the University of British Columbia.

As a result of her family history (her mother was married to Timothy Leary in the 70s) her own extensive research and her relationship with Dr. Gabor Maté as a mentor and friend, she began her journey into the field of psychedelic therapies, where she is still being trained and supervised by the field's pioneers.

She travels and trains with indigenous communities in Central and South America, where ancestral traditions are preserved through the use of entheogens and rituals that remind us of man's true place in the ecosystem of nature.

She has been trained in various modalities including ketamine-assisted psychotherapy at Polaris Institute in San Francisco and is trained facilitator from the Centre for Systemic Constellations in London. Since 2020, she has been hosting the futureprimitive.org podcast which was founded in 2006.

She works with people who want to grow in their psychological and spiritual awareness.
