Kristė Agota Savė

Kristė Agota Savė is a Lithuanian theater producer, curator, and dramaturg. She has been working with different artists and theaters in Lithuania since 2006 and has produced and co-created shows at independent venues and the Lithuanian National Drama Theater. A dedicated advocate for diversity and equality, Kristė Agota Savė has launched several impactful initiatives, including co-founding the arts agency Artscape in 2011, which merges arts and social integration, the Association of Culture Managers in 2015, and the Theater Information Center (TIC) in 2020, which have been successfully operating in the cultural field. Since 2017, she has been the head of the artistic department at the Lithuanian National Drama Theater, and since 2019, the artistic director of the SIRENOS Theater Festival. With a background in philology, anthropology, and arts management, Kristė Agota Savė has been passionately working on making art a vehicle for social change. Although she has co-created six theater plays, her recent focus has been on curatorial work at the SIRENOS festival, which amplifies diverse voices and serves as a platform for international dialogue.
Kristė Agota Savė is an Onassis AiR Fellow for 2024/25 through the Dramaturgy Fellowship.
