Kornilios Selamsis

Kornilios Selamsis was born in Athens and studied composition at the Royal Conservatory of The Hague. His works have been commissioned and performed by international ensembles and institutions such as the ASKO Ensemble, the Nieuw Ensemble, the Enseble de Ereprijs, the Łódź Philharmonic, the Artéfacts Ensemble, the Athens State Orchestra, the Ventus Ensemble, the Molyvos International Music Festival in Lesvos, the Onassis Stegi, the Greek National Opera, and MusicAeterna. In the summer of 2016 and the summer of 2018 his opera “Leonce and Lena” and his installation “Agathophron” for forty sound sources were presented at the Athens Festival respectively. A large part of his work comprises music for theater, with productions in Greece and abroad.
