Kassim Ligopora
Private sector employee - soccer player
Kassim Ligopora was born in Athens in 1994. His parents, both from Tanzania, came to Greece in search of a better life. He obtained Greek citizenship just last year, even though he has lived in Greece his whole life. He went to elementary and secondary school here, and graduated from college. He has worked for numerous Greek businesses, and attended business seminars with a view to building something of his own. Sport is his passion – always has been, and always will be. He has played for a number of football teams in Athens, and always gives his all at every appearance. Life has made him hard-working and polite, but above all grateful. He always strives to achieve his goals, and always gives his very best to that end. Though times are tough, he wants to continue his studies, most likely abroad, in order to build a better future both for himself and for the people he loves.
