Evrydiki Kravvariti
Specialist Pathologist, Assistant Professor of Geriatrics, School of Medicine, National and Kapodistrian University of Athens
Evrydiki Kravvariti received her Medical Diploma and Master’s Degree in Biostatistics (MSc) from the School of Medicine of the National and Kapodistrian University of Athens (in 2005 and 2008, respectively). She specialized in Internal Medicine at the Albert Einstein/Jacobi Campus and received a subspecialty in Geriatrics from the Medical School of New York University. In 2016, she completed her doctoral dissertation at the 1st Department of Propaedeutic and Internal Medicine of the National and Kapodistrian University of Athens, where she served in various academic positions until she was appointed Assistant Professor of Geriatrics in 2024. From October 2022, she is leading a working group for the formation of a cross-European geriatric education core curriculum, addressed to healthcare professionals who work with elderly people in their communities, as part of the EU-funded “Cost Programming” Action. Since March 2023, she serves as the scientific leader of the Geriatric Outpatient Clinic of the 1st Department of Propaedeutic and Internal Medicine at the “Laikon” General Hospital in Athens, which focuses on the timely identification and management of complex geriatric syndromes.
