Evalisse Lopez is a talented 15-year-old sophomore majoring in theater at Wadleigh Secondary School for The Performing & Visual Arts. She is skilled in performing arts, visual arts, and fashion and design. She started her acting career with TADA! Youth Theater at the age of 5, where she discovered her passion for performing and learned basic improvisation and playwriting techniques. At age 7, she began singing with YPC (Young People’s Chorus), performing in venues such as Carnegie Hall and the Apollo Theater. Evalisse also studied fashion and design with the modeling agency Barbizon, where she learned runway techniques and developed stage presence. Throughout her journey, she has taken art classes, creating pieces inspired by her Hispanic heritage and challenges faced as a teen.
She has participated in many school plays, including performances of “Seussical” and “Belle”. She continues her theater studies with Epic Remix, where she works with others on writing their very own play inspired by Shakespeare, addressing critical societal issues of today. Through Epic Remix, she was recommended for the cast of “Live From Mount Olympus”, where she plays the young Athenian Eriboea and is discovering the art of voice acting.
