Emma Saba
Emma Saba is a choreographer and dancer. After her classical music studies at the Consevatorio “G. B. Martini” in Bologna, she graduated in 2021 with a Bachelor’s degree from La Manufacture – Haute école des arts de la scène in Lausanne, and then became associated artist at L’Abri in Geneva. She has collaborated with Collectif Foulles, Clara Delorme, Cosima Grand, Teresa Vitucci, Marie Jeger, and Marléne Charpentié in Switzerland and with Collettivo Cinetico and Gianmaria Borzillo in Italy.
In 2022, she created her first solo, “la fine di tutte le cose / l’ inizio di tutte le altre,” co-produced by Emergentia (Pavillon ADC, L’Abri, and Théâtre de l’Usine), and was then invited to the 25th anniversary of Festival Artdanthé at Théâtre de Vanves (Paris), to Roxy Birsfelden (Basel), and to GOGOGO Festival at Théâtre du Grütli (Geneva). For 2024-2025, her work is supported by Grand Luxe Network and Pavillon ADC in Geneva.
Emma Saba is accompanied by L’Abri, as part of the Grand Luxe Network, and she is an Onassis AiR Fellow in the framework of Grand Luxe Network, for the season 2024-2025. Onassis Stegi’s participation in the network is developed as part of its Outward Turn Program initiatives.
