Eirini Patoura

Greek artist Eirini Patoura is a director, actress, clown, puppeteer, and acrobat. She studied theater and contemporary dance in Athens and in 2011 moved to Paris, where she pursued her studies at the École Jacques Lecoq (2011-13). Eirini deepened her knowledge alongside ‘Complicité’ company and worked with ‘Anthropologues.’ She performed with ‘Flying Seagulls’ in several festivals across UK and mainland Europe, as well as in refugee camps. She also teamed up with the New York-based ‘World Wild Lab’ in Greece and Taiwan.

Since 2016 she creates and operates puppets alongside Eric Bass and Jean-Louis Heckel. In 2018 she created a show for the Taiwanese Yunlin International Puppets Arts Festival and gave clown and buffoon seminars at the Taipei National University of the Arts. In 2019 she founded the FixPoint company and in 2020 she created the puppet and clown show “Maheras – The Great Knife.”
