Dimitris Zouras
Dimitris Zouras was born in Athens in 1994. He graduated from the Stavrakos School of Film with a degree in film directing, and studied business organization and administration at the University of Piraeus. For three years he followed acting classes and has performed with amateur theater groups. With an experience as an assistant director and production assistant in short and feature films, he has worked at Athens Casting as a casting director for cinema and advertising since 2016. Dimitris has written and directed three short films (“Madga,” “Mama,” and “Cactus”), all of which were screened and awarded in Greek festivals (Best Actress Award for “Magda” and Drama Queer Award for “Cactus” at the Drama International Short Film Festival, among others) and international festivals alike (BangkokThai International Film Festival – Best Short Film, Prague Independent Film Festival – Best Cinematography for “Cactus,” among others). He recently completed his fourth short film titled “Fouetté,” an ERT production and co-produced by the Onassis Foundation, whereas he is currently writing his first feature.
