Dean Brown
Dean Brown is a multidisciplinary designer and researcher based in London. As founder of Brown Office he designs and makes objects, installations and interiors with a dedication to materiality and narrative, delivering projects for clients including Google, Uniqlo, Nike, Sèvres, Campari, Depop and Schloss Hollenegg for Design. His work has been exhibited internationally at the Milan Design Week, London Design Festival, the Victoria and Albert Museum and Aram Gallery, London.
Brown studied product design at DJCAD, University of Dundee, Scotland (2003–2007), followed by a residency at Fabrica Communication Research Centre, Treviso, Italy (2010–2014). In parallel to his own practice, Brown is a senior research fellow in the Interaction Research Studio (2017–). Amongst other things he has designed offices, cameras, kitchens and sunglasses… for puffins.
