Constantine Skourlis

Constantine Skourlis is a composer, sound artist, and producer born in Athens, Greece. His work spans various media and long-standing collaborations with choreographers, filmmakers, fashion designers, and lighting designers.

His live performances stretch sound and light into unstable, threshold states, shaping immersive, visceral experiences that bind environmental destruction to human consequence. This pursuit found its sharpest expression in 2023, when he collaborated with lighting designer Theresa Baumgartner on “DAWN ETERNAL,” presented at Onassis Stegi as part of the STAGES A/LIVE series.

Skourlis’ acclaimed studio albums “Hades” (2017) and “Eternal Recurrence” (2020) were released on Bedouin Records. The albums received rave reviews from press and public alike (“a sonic atlas”—‘A Closer Listen’; “majestic”—‘Boomkat’), with the reference publication ‘Headphone Commute’ placing “Hades” among the best albums of the last 15 years.

His personal work also includes “DEEP HORIZON” (audiovisual installation, 2022), “Vanishing Point” (choreography, 2020), and “Vanishing Point” (film, 2022).

Skourlis’ work has been presented at venues including the Ancient Theatre of Epidaurus, Berghain (Berlin), BOZAR (Brussels), Institut Français (Athens), Botanique (Brussels), Theater Rotterdam, Onassis Stegi (Athens), Alserkal Avenue (Dubai), and Megaron the Athens Concert Hall.

He is currently at a pivotal transition, moving from live performance toward multi-channel spatial audio and immersive sound installation.
