Carol Sansour

Carol Sansour is a Palestinian poet whose first book, “In the Time of the Apricots,” was released in Cairo as a trilingual edition in 2019. In 2022, her collection “Jamelia” was published along with “A la saison des abricots,” the French translation of her first book, by the Swiss publishing house Heros-Limite. She is the director of the Athens Palestine Film Festival and is co-managing the Shaeirat Poetry Performance Festival. Her work is translated into French, English, Italian, Spanish, Greek, and German.

Carol Sansour is a participant of the Onassis AiR Extended Research Residencies program for 2024/25.
