Aris Papadopoulos & Martha Pasakopoulou are professional dance artists and makers from Athens-Greece with a background in Architecture and Chemistry respectively. Previously performing in various artistic collaborations, they began working together in 2016 bringing their individual interests and aesthetics into a common discussion about constructed space, performer-viewer proximity, humor, absurdity and rhythm which are used as open frames of work allowing for potentiality, variety of perception and creativity to lead the process. Their work is found in the crossroads between dance, performance and installation.

Individually they have been collaborating with choreographers, artists and institutions such as Wally Cardona, Robert Clark, Eva Recacha, Apotosoma dance co., Andonis Foniadakis, David Dorfman, OKTANA Dancetheatre, Arbonauts, Tino Sehgal, Dora Garcia, Stefanos Tsivopoulos, Marina Abramovic, Flux Laboratory, Palais de Tokyo, HIMHERANDIT Productions to name a few. As an artistic duo they developed and produced their first work touching.just (2017) with which they were selected as Aerowaves Twenty18 Artists, and toured in Athens, Sofia, Zurich, London, Paris and Thessaloniki. In 2018 they presented Five Steps to Save the World a short, immersive performance for one member audience at a time, within the frame of The Performance Shop, as part of the Athens & Epidaurus Festival 2018.
