Anna Stefanidou

Anna Stefanidou was born and raised in Thessaloniki where she studied architecture at the Aristotle University. She then moved to Boston, where she received her M.Sc. and Ph.D. degrees from the Harvard Graduate School of Design. Her research focused on the use of the Internet in public spaces and how it affects our perception of space and our sociality. During her studies, she had the opportunity to take courses at the business schools of Harvard and MIT, the Kennedy School of Government, and the MIT Media Lab. She then served as Director of Online Education at the Boston Architectural College (BAC), where she developed the first online sustainable design certificate program. When she returned to Greece in 2008, she continued working with the BAC with the aim of securing accreditation for the sustainable design online courses in Europe and the Middle East.

Since 2011, she has been working at Athens College in Psychiko, where she is the Head of Digital Education. In collaboration with teachers of primary and secondary education, she creates online activities for students that enrich the activity of learning. She has received a degree in education from the Higher School of Pedagogical and Technological Education, which allowed her to immerse herself in teaching methodology.

She has been involved in a wide range of activities, including photography, music, indoor cycling, sugar art, and creative writing. In recent years, she decided to make a career out of her hobbies, earning a certificate as a dog and companion animal trainer. At the same time, she launched her own business, petlogic.gr, an e-shop with a selection of products and services for pets and their owners.

She has held positions as president or member of various school boards of directors, including the Architecture Students Association of AUTH, the Hellenic Students Association of Harvard, and, most recently, the Harvard Club of Greece.
