Angeliki Papoulia
She was born in Athens. She graduated from the Department of Theater Studies of the University of Athens and the Drama School ‘Empros – Theater Workshop’. She has participated in the films: “Matchbox” by Yannis Economides, “Alps” and “The Lobster” by Yorgos Lanthimos, “A Blast” and “The Miracle of the Sargasso Sea” by Syllas Tzoumerkas, “Amulet” by Romola Garai, “Green Sea” by Angeliki Antoniou, “Human Flowers of Flesh” by Helena Wittmann, “A Little Love Package” by Gastón Solnicki, “Voices in Deep” by Jason Raftopoulos, “The Strangers’ Case” by Brandt Andersen, among others.
In October 2004 she founded the theater group blitz. Together with the other members of the group, she has directed, written, and participated as an actor in all the group’s performances. The group has presented its work across various festivals and numerous theatrical venues. Recently, she has directed in collaboration with Christos Passalis theater performances at the Luzerner Theater in Switzerland.
