Amalia Kountouri

Amalia Kountouri holds a diploma in flute under Janina Batko. As a member of several ensembles, specializing in various music genres – Renaissance and Baroque instrumental and vocal music, contemporary music, Brazilian and jazz – she performs in many Greek islands and cities. She is exploring contemporary duo repertoire with pianist Myrto Akrivou and with guitarist Eva Fampa, with whom she toured in China in 2014. She is in the organizing committee of classical music festival MuSifanto (Sifnos) and teaches flute in two Athenian Conservatoires.
