Alexandros Drymonitis
Alexandros Drymonitis is a musician active in experimental electronic music and noise. He studied at the postgraduate level at the Conservatorium Van Amsterdam. His music practice centres on the texture of sound and of noise, exploring the limits of control with form as a primary goal. His educational goal is to provide knowledge on multimedia programming.
He has worked with artists from different arts disciplines as well as with various ensembles, both interdisciplinary and musical. He is a member of the Medea Electronique art collective and collaborates with the ARTéfacts ensemble.
As a member of Medea Electronique, he is behind Electric Nights, an Athens-based festival for live electronic music.
He has presented his work in Europe and America and works as a freelancer in electronic music and multimedia programming.
He is the author of “Digital Electronics for Musicians”, published by Apress.
