Alexandra K* (b. Corfu, 1985) is a Greek playwright, author, and screenwriter based in Athens. Alexandra’s most recent projects include her plays “milk, blood,” a modern version of Euripides’ “Medea” (commissioned by the Athens Epidaurus Festival), and “Revolutionary Ways to Clean Your Swimming Pool” (National Theater of Greece), which has been translated widely and has received a EURODRAM award. Among her many credits, Alexandra is also a contributor for “Vogue” Greece, has created commissioned works for the Greek National Opera and the National Theater of Greece, has collaborated with the Hellenic Broadcasting Corporation (ERT) on several TV productions, and has published her best-selling novel “How Sea Urchins Kiss” (Patakis Publications, 2017). She's been selected as a writer-in-residence at the International Writing Program of the Iowa University ('21). She has served as a Board Member of Thessaloniki International Film Festival.
