Adam Semijalac

Adam Semijalac is a composer and performer from Zagreb, Croatia. He is both a versatile researcher of traditional delta blues and the music heritage of his Slavonian and Dalmatian roots, whereas he has used his studies to produce four albums: “Time of Great Depression” (2014), “Hate is a Wonderful Thing” (2018), “A Dance for the Black Devil” (2020), and “Ode Dite” (2023). In Konitsa, he will perform with the five-woman choir Fige and play on two “dangubica” traditional instruments, a banjo, and a Croatian resophonic tricone guitar.
