63 High

63 High formed in Thessaloniki in 1997 – a band influenced by the Jamaican reggae scene, the UK ska movement, and American hardcore punk culture. After their first concert in the Epanomi suburb of Thessaloniki and numerous jam sessions together, they recorded their first demo – “Fight, Flight or Celebrate” – in 1998.

Across the ensuing two decades, 63 High have made countless live concert appearances at schools, campsites, parks, bars, clubs and, of course, major festivals, such as Ireon, Street Mode, and Rockwave, as well as going on a European tour. One of the most thrilling live Greek bands active in the alternative scene, they have appeared alongside many major and internationally acclaimed artists of their ilk, including The Sex Pistols, Ska-P, Los de Abajo, Sublime, The Toasters, The Meteors, Jaya the Cat, No Fun at All, The Aggrolites, Oi Polloi, Leftöver Crack, and A Wilhelm Scream, to name just a few. Following their own path as a self-funded group, 63 High have been recognized as one of the most active and popular third-generation ska-punk bands in Greece, and have recorded cassettes, four CDs, and one LP in their own private studio. They soon plan to release a series of LPs with new material in 2021-2022.
