The AntetokounBros Academy, which is executed with the contribution of Nike, the Onassis Foundation, and the Eurohoops Organization, “embraces” for a third consecutive year youths from vulnerable social groups. Young athletes that come from different countries of the world, have different cultural backgrounds, and speak different languages, become one team and chase their dreams.

A few weeks after the first visit of the person behind the Academy and MVP Giannis Antetokounmpo, the athletes of the AntetokounBros Academy are starting their training sessions. The program of the new season at the AntetokounBros Academy started off with smiles, inspiration, and passion for basketball. The Coaches and Junior Coaches welcomed back the athletes that enrolled in the Academy last year and continue their training program this year, and also welcomed the newcomers to the Academy, while the Head Coach Evina Maltsi spoke to the athletes about the objectives of the program, the educational actions, and the scholarships.

The training program, which features basic basketball techniques and strength training exercises, is designed based on the level and potential of the young athletes. However, our primary goal is to have a good time. At the AntetokounBros Academy all athletes have equal opportunities. Every child has the chance to be taught basketball properly; to learn how to set goals and work toward them; to get inspired by the personality and achievements of the Head Coach Evina Maltsi, a women’s basketball legend, and of course by the hard work, the ethics, and the accomplishments of the AntetokounBros Academy’s founders, the Antetokounmpo brothers.

The new season of the AntetokounBros Academy just started!
