ALL ARTS, the broadcast and digital platform created by The WNET Group, will be hosting virtual conversations with arts leaders addressing current events and their impact on arts and culture. Afroditi Panagiotakou, the director of Culture at the Onassis Foundation will participate in the talks which will be moderated by Board member of the Onassis Foundation and of the ALL ARTS Advisory Board Karen Brooks Hopkins.
“ALL ARTS Talks Recovery: A Global Perspective” will stream live on Tuesday, June 23 at 17:00 (UTC +3) on the ALL ARTS Facebook and YouTube channels and allarts.org. The conversation will address the global impact the current COVID-19 pandemic has had on the arts and the steps forward toward recovery, including Germany’s arts stimulus package, the current vulnerability of theatre in the UK, the impact of COVID-19 for Ugandan arts groups, and how racial justice protests in the US and parts of Europe have informed the ways in which organizations are thinking about their future roles and programming.
