Konstantinos Bouras is an architect and urban planner. He maintains an architectural office in Athens and teaches courses on architectural composition, urban design, and industrial design at the Department of Interior Architecture of the School of Applied Arts and Culture at the University of West Attica.

He was recently appointed, for a three-year term, a member of the nine-member Board of Directors of the National Museum of Contemporary Art. The Board is responsible for all matters pertaining to the administration and management of the Museum. The Board of the Museum is, among others, responsible for approving the proposals of the Artistic Director and the Administrative-Financial Director, the conclusion, signing, and execution of any contract necessary for the establishment of rights or obligations of the Museum, the acceptance of donations, contributions, or sponsorships, the conclusion of loans, the preparation of the annual budget, the preparation of the annual report and balance sheet.

Konstantinos Bouras has worked in architectural offices in Athens, Milan, and New York, on projects of various typologies and scales, as well as a research associate at the Public Space Authority of Mexico City. He has taught architectural and urban design at the School of Architecture of the University of Pennsylvania. His work has been presented in Athens, New York, Tallinn, and at the Toyo Ito Museum in Japan.
