Extended Research Residencies

The Onassis AiR Extended Research Residencies is an innovative program offering individual artistic residencies of up to a three-month duration, designed for creative practitioners from all disciplines.

The program is addressed to creators who are looking for dedicated time and space to nurture, develop, or refine in-progress work, with the support and peer-to-peer connection needed to move their projects forward.

During the residency, the Fellows participate in a community environment benefiting from a robust support network that includes peer-to-peer feedback, capacity building activities, personalized mentoring, and targeted connections.

Throughout the residency period, the art practitioners that participate in the program are invited to engage with the vibrant locale of Athens as well as with Fellows from other program strands and networks, embracing moments of knowledge sharing and exchange.

For the 2025–26 season, the Extended Research Residencies program expands its reach to a broader creative community that focuses on crafts, taking advantage of our new facilities at Onassis Ready that allow for further experimentation with scale, materials, and collaborative processes.
