Emergency Fellowships 2019/20

Onassis AiR

A tailor-made, time-sensitive support for artists and curators living in Greece or anywhere in the world.

The Emergency Fellοwships 2019/20 recipients are: Marianna Christofides, Danai Giannoglou, Dimosthenis Kallay (Complex Shadow)

The Emergency Fellοwships are not intended for presenting your work, or for engaging in an academic program. They are not meant to be used for any kind of production related activity. Instead these fellοwships are meant to be highly responsive to address volatile situations around the world or in Greece, or time-sensitive artistic research, or unanticipated professional needs.

Each Emergency Fellowship consists of a stipend of up to 3,000 EUR, as well as support from the Οnassis AiR team to prepare anything that can help the fellow to engage in the research activity they are about to embark on. The selection of each emergency fellowship is done on a rolling-basis throughout the year. Anyone, anywhere in the world, can apply by writing to air@onassis.org with a simple letter of intent expressing their individual time-sensitive need, and any relevant information the applicant believes is necessary to give more context to their request. The applications are reviewed by the Οnassis AiR team and everyone gets a reply within a two-week period from the receipt of the request.
